Hi,
Happy Halloween! Did you know that more than 35 million pounds of candy corn will be produced this year. That equates to nearly 9 billion pieces – enough to circle the moon nearly 4 times if laid end-to-end! We are learning on many strategies to solve ratio problems. Last week we learned that equations can be made from ratio tables and can be used to solve ratio problems. This week,
we used coordinate graphs to solve ratio problems. We started Edgenuity last week. It is a program that gives students math practice based on their current level in math. This can also be used at home. Students should know their usernames and passwords. This will be another tool used in math on a weekly basis. Below are the links to lessons 13, and 14. Next week we will work on lesson 15 which will review lessons 1-14. We will then be ready for an assessment.
