We are dividing fractions in math class and also using the keep, change, flip method. I recently wrote on the blog so it is fun writing on it. We are dividing fractions with mixed numbers, too. I forgot to tell you that. Evan M.

Last week Mrs. Biarnesen introduced to us Learn Storm. It is a fun pass time where we answer math questions to earn points and advance to different levels. We will also be doing this next week on Friday.
Malcolm A. What we have been doing in math is learning how to divide fractions by fractions. We also did Learn Storm. Learn Storm was fun and I learned how to do stuff I didn't know how to do. Mrs. Biarnesen also has fun stuff for us to do in class so keep it up Mrs. Biarnesen. Evan M.
This week we have been learning how to solve one-step and two-step equations. We have also been learning this in word problem form so we can apply them in real life situations. We have been working hard grasping this concept and our class is confident for the test on Tuesday. - By: Ally N. and Sara S.
This week in math we have been multiplying fractions. Some started with mixed numbers. We have had many practices during the week including playing the game Zap! We have also done some partner practice. We are able to come to study hall if we didn't understand our homework. Then, Mrs. Biarnesen helps us get a better understanding of the lessons. This was a great week in period 7 math. Bella C.
In Mrs. Biarnesen's periods 7 and 8, we have been learning lessons on fractions. We have learned how to add, subtract, and multiply fractions and mixed numbers. Lindsey V.
This is Emma G. - breaking news about period 9 and what we have been learning. We have been turning mixed numbers into improper fractions and improper fractions into mixed numbers. Another thing we have been learning is just fractions. Also, we have been learning about equivalent fractions. The bottom number in a fraction is the denominator and the top number is the numerator. Also, we have been learning about lowest terms. This is Emma G. with breaking news, bye!
This week in math for periods 1 and 3 we are learning how to subtract integers. As of November 19, 2015, we learned how to use counters for subtracting integers. Then we learned to subtract integers using the number line. This lesson has been real fun.
Gabe W. Hey! My name is Bella. I'm in the 7th period math class. This week we learned lots of things about fractions. We learned about mixed numbers, improper fractions, and putting our fractions in lowest terms. To practice we played Zap!, Disco Frog and Round Table in class. We also did independent work while doing our warm-up problems at the beginning of class. For our warm-up problems we applied what we know to real life situations. We had a lot of fun practicing our fractions this week in 7th period. Bella C.
In math, we are currently learning about fractions. We know how to change improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers into improper fractions. We are going to need to know this when we work with fraction operations. In the past, we completed the decimals unit. We learned how to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals by decimals and decimals by whole numbers. Lindsey V.
